ABOUT cassandra

“My practice is a conversation with the natural world — a sustained inquiry into its intricate connections that inform my material and conceptual language.”

Cassandra Scott-Finn is an award-winning multidisciplinary artist based on Bundjalung Country (Byron Bay, Australia). Working across photography, sculpture, performance, and installation, she explores biophilia, climate awareness, and the interdependence between people and place.

A finalist in the Bowness Photographic Award, National Photographic Portrait Prize, Olive Cotton Award, and Galah Regional Photography Prize, Scott-Finn has been commissioned by institutions including the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA). Her work is held in public and private collections.

Scott-Finn’s practice reflects an ongoing engagement with ecology and materiality, using art to probe how we inhabit — and impact — the environments that shape us.
